REVIEW: ASUS Zenfone Zoom

Today, we gonna take a closer look of Asus newest part of the family, the ridiculously thin Asus Zenfone Zoom with its 3x optical zoom – absolutely amazing.

Technology is indeed innovating and we can’t stop it. Every day, thousands of developers across the globe are working enormously to make the world a better place and by means of ‘a better place’ is a world where people are connected virtually 24/7.

Imagine how a single piece of thing changes our daily track? How a single thin object allows us to see the world more than our eyes can see things?

The Asus ZenFone Zoom can do things more than your current Smartphone can. It matters to me, to you, and to everyone because it is a phone that comes with that rarest of features and a phone camera like no other.

It has an optical zoom with a 13-megapixel camera that comes with a completely new set of system that moves horizontally, making the phone looks much slimmer. It has an aluminum body that measures 5.5mm to a touch under 12mm. If you want to take your photography skills into the next level, and then this one is for you. Zenfone Zoom’s camera has optical image stabilization, 1 10-mirror, 4-piece camera lens produced by Hoya, a laser autofocus, and a color temperature flash unit. This is a good alternative to replicate the quality of a DSLR camera. It offers a new Super Resolution mode that can create shots up to 52 MP, an instant adjustment of the shutter speed, and many other pro-level settings.

ASUS Zenfone Zoom is the world’s thinnest Smartphone that features 3x optical zoom and is running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, installed with ASUS’ Zen UI on top of it.

The Asus Zenfone Zoom went on sale in Taiwan last December 2015 in the price range between Php 20.2K – Php 23K depending on the amount of storage space.

Though we have no idea of when is the local release of it but we are sure that Asus Zenfone Zoom’s price in the Philippines costs not more than Php22K.
